RESTAURANT RICHWELL SDN BHD.

Restaurant Richwell Sdn Bhd is "the new kid on the block" on Section 19's restaurant row.

With neighbors like Restoran Green View, Ampang Yong Tau foo, Nanking Vegetarian Restoran, Heng Kee Tim Sum it's indeed a tough world to compete!

This restaurant is a two shops corner lot with floor to ceiling glass panel on one side and alfresco dining by it's side open space.

They served fusion East meet West type of food.

We went there for lunch and we had Tong Yuen Ginger tea, Hong Kong creamy tea and hot Honey watercress for drinks.

For a new outlet (barely one week old), service was commendable.

Oyster seaweed roll-the egg omelette filled with bits of oyster was rolled with seaweed and ham-tasted bland on it's own but was different when dipped into the wasabi/mayonnaise sauce-Rm6/

Seafood porridge-filled with fresh scallop. mussels, squid and fish-porridge was smooth and tummy warming-Rm12.80/

Gyoza-would prefer if it's was pan fried a bit longer-the vinegar/sliced ginger was a good accompaniment-Rm6/

Sliced Beef soup La Mein-the tender beef and the smooth and springy noodle was a delight with the tasty broth-Rm10.80/

Total bill:Rm57/
Location:24G & 26G, Jalan 19/3,
Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

RM12.80 for a bowl of porridge overloaded with side dishes, it is so value for money...

ai wei-must dip with the sauce.
J2fm-still full house during the weekends.
Tarts and Pies-welcome-it was yummy.

Nice photos! The thing that is most interesting to me is that for the seafood porridge they put the seafood whole not not just the meat only. Do not see that in my area often.

ETEat-i think it's to prove it's freshness.

The 'wow' factor is there esp with such value-added ingredients.

Went there for dinner and the food was absolutely marvelous. There's one thing you've overlooked - the "VIP rooms" (dining tables that are separated by curtains) provide much privacy for family or group dinner.
