Bak Kut Teh@Restoran Kim Tek.

Restoran Kim Tek, bring back memories for me.

Thirty plus years ago when they were located along the Sg Buluh-Subang
main road, I was one of their regular customer.

I will have a bowl of dark, robust herbal flavored "sai kuat" (small bone-shaped like a chicken thigh) BKT with a hot pot of Puer tea, before heading to my pig's farm in Sg Buluh New Village.

The boss's brother (found out that he passed away) was a friend of mine.

At this location in Kepong Indah - business is brisk and the BKT taste is still intact.

We ordered a clay pot of sai kuat, trotter, intestine, stomach with fresh lettuce
served piping hot- a bowl of braised chicken feet and a plate of alkaline rice cake
to go with the Bak Kut Teh.

Parking is bearable.
